Sangster Law is a very busy law firm seeking a reliable, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist. This is a fast-paced and demanding position that requires the ability to multitask effectively while dealing with high call volumes and occasionally agitated clients.
The ideal candidate is polished in appearance and character, communicates clearly and professionally, and can remain calm under pressure. This role is essential to the daily operation of the firm and requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients in person and over the phone
- Answering and directing multiple phone lines
- Completing client intake forms
- Scheduling appointments
- Opening and closing files
- Processing client payments
- Writing, responding to, and appropriately directing emails
- Maintaining office cleanliness and organization
- Ordering and refilling office supplies
- Mailing and receiving documents
- Making deliveries to nearby law firms, banks, and related offices
- Refilling and maintaining photocopiers
- Acting as an occasional witness for will signings
- Watering office plants
Physical Requirements
This position may involve light physical activity, including walking deliveries to nearby offices and handling office supplies.
Qualifications
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software
- General computer proficiency is required
- Previous office or administrative experience is an asset

Pay: $18.50-$20.50 per hour
