Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead the inbound fulfilment operations at our IKEA store in Kuopio? We are looking for a manager with a passion for logistics and people to lead our warehouse and replenishment teams. We are looking for a down-to-earth leader who is passionate about developing both people and efficient operations. You are a curious and forward-thinking problem-solver who sees the bigger picture and inspires your team to achieve new heights together.

  • You have an understanding of logistics operations in retail environment, especially goods receiving, warehouse and store replenishment. Experience with automated warehouse systems is seen as an advantage.
  • You have a good understanding of how goods flow management impacts the customer experience and you are keen to use data and KPIs to find better ways of working.
  • You are an inspiring and motivational leader who enjoys developing your team, knowing that together we achieve greater things.
  • You are ready to take full ownership of the store inbound operations and are passionate about your own growth and development as a leader.

Your responsibilities

As a Fulfilment Operations Manager, your main mission is to lead and inspire the inbound team (warehouse, store and automation replenishment). Our goal is to secure the highest possible product availability for our customers in store and online to secure fluent omnichannel customer experience. You will do this together with your team of three logistics Team Leaders and their teams.

  • You will play a key role in creating a seamless customer experience by supporting your excellent inbound teams on their daily tasks and processes.
  • You will lead and inspire your team, working together with the store's other functions to ensure the highest possible product availability for our customers.
  • You will constantly seek to renew and improve our ways of working, identifying and addressing the root causes of inefficiencies to contribute to our cost-conscious culture.
  • You will ensure your team always works in a safe and compliant manner, following all IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, and the environment.
  • You will actively contribute to the store's business plan and logistics action plan, ensuring our goods flow operations are aligned with our common goals.
  • You will be responsible for securing stock accuracy and the quality of our goods flow process, making sure our products are in perfect condition for our customers.
  • You will collaborate with your colleagues to optimize our store's capacity, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of goods.
  • You will focus on identifying and developing the talents within your team to secure succession planning and help your co-workers grow.

This position is full time 37,5h/week and Permanent. Starting in the role on 4th of May or by agreement.

In this role your main working hours are between 6.00-16.00 and include some weekend and night shifts. Main working location is IKEA Kuopio store.
