Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at The Belvedere Golf Club. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food offerings. Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, including grilling, sautéing, and frying
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Skills:
- Food industry knowledge
- Experience in food service or meal preparation
- Proficiency in kitchen operations and equipment usage
- Strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to cook various dishes to order
- Excellent time management skills

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
