Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in various tasks related to medication management and patient care.

* Pharmaclik Rx / Propel Rx experience is preferred thank you!

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Process prescription orders, including verifying patient information and medication details.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and health products.
• Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and healthcare staff.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
• Familiarity with Pharmclik RX (NexusRx) software is a must.
• At least one year experience in pharmacy.
• Pay is based on experience.
• Main job will be inputting, filling and counting, phones and ringing patients out of the till. Friendly customer care is a must.
