Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of garage doors and related components. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and durable installations.

Extra plus if you have experience with both commercial (including rolling steel) and residential installs.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair garage doors, openers, and accessories according to manufacturer specifications.
• Fabricate custom components as needed to ensure proper fit and functionality.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand installation requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to maneuver garage door sections and related hardware.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide recommendations for installations or repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed doors to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in remodeling projects that involve garage door modifications or upgrades.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to garage door installation.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems as they pertain to garage door openers.
• Ability to fabricate components and fixtures for customized installations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in every installation.
