The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

Description:
We are currently seeking Tradepersons to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks across our resort, to ensure the smooth operation of our infrastructure whilst ensuring our guests are a priority.

You will be required to effectively resolve maintenance issues relevant to your trade or within your capabilites, which may include hands on work or the delegation of tasks to contractors or other maintenance team members.

Respond to guest maintenance issues whilst representing a level of customer service and professionalism that consistently exceeds our guests’ expectations.

Proactively identify areas for improvement within the resort.

Skills and Experiences:

Energy and passion for the Hospitality Industry
A Qualified trade as an - Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber or Painter. If not qualified experience in maintenance work as a trade assistant.
Dynamic individual with an ability to multitask with efficiency
Competent in the use of hand and power tools
Open QLD manual driver’s license (essential)
Trade Qualified preferred but not essential
White card preferred but not essential
Proven ability in identifying and resolving maintenance concerns
the ability to adhere to workplace health and safety requirements
Excellent time management skills with a strong attention to detail
Previous experience within a similar environment
Must be eligible to work in Australia
