Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day hatchery operations including incubation, sanitation, vaccination, and transportation of day-old chicks
- Lead and develop a team, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Monitor and improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs
- Oversee preventative maintenance and asset management
- Ensure compliance with all Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, HR, procurement, and executive management
- Manage procurement and supplier relationships
- Prepare operational reports and analyses for senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field (MBA preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Agri-Business at a managerial level, preferably within poultry or hatchery operations
- Strong knowledge of poultry management practices, including incubation and chick husbandry
- Proven skills in financial management, strategic planning, and operations leadership
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management
- Willingness to work Sunday to Thursday and be on-call 24/7
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,108.00 - $110,391.00 per year
