Job Description:
As a Ground Worker at Suirside Construction, you will play a crucial role in preparing construction sites and supporting the overall construction process. This hands-on position involves working closely with the site team to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site preparation and clearance
- Excavation and trenching for foundations, drainage, and utilities
- Installing and maintaining kerbs, paving, and footpaths
- Setting up the site with barriers, safety signs, and huts
- Operating heavy equipment as qualified (if applicable)
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Ground Worker in construction
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- In-date Safe Pass, manual handling certification, and a full clean driving license required
- CPCS/CSCS card or equivalent is preferred but not essential
- Additional tickets and qualifications are advantageous

Pay: €21.59 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
