The Opportunity

We’re seeking a reliable, experienced, and compassionate Health Care Aide’s to join the GHC family. If you have experience in personal care and dementia/memory care and genuinely enjoy making a difference, this role could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

Duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Providing dementia and memory care support (essential)
• Light household support and meal preparation
• Engaging clients in conversation and meaningful daily activities
• Offering companionship and emotional support

• Is respectful, dependable, and experienced in caregiving
• Follows all GHC safety protocols and procedures
• Builds strong trust and rapport with clients and families
• Communicates clearly and maintains thorough reporting with GHC management

Requirements

• Health Care Aide certification in Alberta (required)
• Registration on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory (required)
• Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

(issued within the last 3 months)

• Valid First Aid & CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
• A compassionate, client-centred approach to care
