Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hotel setting where attention to detail and customer service are paramount.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Ensure public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms are tidy and well-maintained
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishment
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is advantageous
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
