About the Role

An established hospitality group is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of its Galway-based hotels.

The successful candidate will provide leadership across all hotel departments, maintain excellent service standards, support departmental managers, and ensure guests consistently receive a high-quality experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional looking to progress within a growing hotel group.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the hotel’s daily operations.
• Lead, supervise, and support departmental managers.
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service.
• Respond to guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor employee performance and identify training and development needs.
• Conduct performance reviews and support team development.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, operating procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage operational budgets, inventory, costs, and financial records.
• Develop strategies to improve guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular property inspections covering cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
• Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.
• Support the hotel’s commercial performance and continued growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a hotel supervisory or management position.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest-service standards.
• Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle complaints and challenging situations professionally.
• Good organisational, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in hotel-management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related subject is preferred but not essential.
