Hotel Receptionist

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Receptionist is the first & last person that a guest meets at the Hotel, therefore it is of utmost importance that all staff present a friendly and professional image to our guests at all times. We are looking for an outgoing individual who is confident working in a fast paced environment, you will also need to be friendly, engaging & a positive person with exceptional interpersonal skills. A positive can do attitude is of high importance and showing initiative to problem solving.
Previous experience in a front desk role with prior knowledge of Hotsoft is preferred but full training will be provided
The candidate must be flexible to work a morning shift (7am till 3pm) and evening shift (3pm till 11pm) and weekends.
Fluent English is essential
Your main duties will include:
- Greeting guests in a positive and friendly manner.
- Assisting individuals with queries.
· Handling Reservations and Cancellations
· Managing Payments
· Answering questions via Phones and Email
· Taking messages
· Helping colleagues to complete administration tasks
· Administration and Customer Service Skills
· IT Skills to work with computerised Booking and payments system
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills
· A friendly and professional telephone manner
· Patience and tack
· The ability to stay calm under pressure
