The Radisson Blu Hotel Letterkenny is a modern stylish hotel situated in heart of Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. Catering to a mix of leisure and business clients, the hotel it has gained a reputation for outstanding customer service in its warm comfortable surroundings. The hotel's Leisure Centre provides a 17 metre pool, sauna, steam room together with a full fitted gym. There are 7 modern meeting rooms capable of accommodating numbers from 12 - 600 pax for a range of conference and events.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hotel Sales Manager located at Radisson Blu Hotel Letterkenny. The Hotel Sales Manager will focus on driving sales and building and strong client relationships to maximise

revenue opportunities. Responsibilities include identifying and securing new business, maintaining existing accounts, implementing marketing and sales strategies, and conducting market research to identify trends and potential opportunities. The role also involves working closely with the hotel’s Reservations and Operations and Digital Marketing teams to achieve business goals and ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and Grow New Rooms Business from Leisure and Corporate Sectors

· Expand the Hotel’s Small/Mid/Large Conference and Meetings Business

· Achieve increased Tour Group Business for the Hotel

· Expand the Hotel’s Golf Tour Portfolio of Clients

· Develop and Implement a Strategy for Winning New Wedding Business

· Assist with the proactive promotion of the Hotel’s Food and Beverage Outlets

· Manage and undertake local and regional activities including trade shows, networking events, wedding fairs, presentations, sales missions etc

· Ensure all Existing Relationships with Corporate Rooms Customers are Maintained and Strengthened

Qualifications

· Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients, negotiate deals, and provide excellent guest experiences.

· Expertise in Sales and Sales Management, including the ability to identify opportunities, secure business, and achieve revenue goals.

· Have an excellent knowledge of the hotel industry and up to date trends

· Proven track record in achieving sales targets and setting growth-oriented strategies.

· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.

· Previous experience in the hospitality sector, especially in hotel sales, is a preferred.

· A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is a plus.
