Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas meet cleanliness standards, coordinate cleaning staff, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a solid background in custodial services and facilities maintenance. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a key role in working with the Housekeeping Manager on delivering exceptional service and maintaining the overall appearance and safety of our premises.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and use of equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations
• Utilize facilities maintenance skills to troubleshoot minor issues with cleaning equipment or fixtures
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including custodial tools and heavy-duty power tools
• Schedule staff shifts effectively to meet operational needs while adhering to time management best practices
• Address customer service concerns promptly, ensuring guest or client satisfaction with cleanliness standards
• Enforce safety procedures related to heavy lifting, use of hand tools, and other custodial tasks
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and safety compliance

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and the operation of hand tools and power tools used in custodial work
• Strong background in managing cleaning teams within commercial or institutional settings
• Excellent communication skills to effectively lead staff and interact with clients or guests
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required for custodial duties
• Prior experience using various cleaning techniques and equipment to achieve high standards of cleanliness

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
