Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Dublin City Centre

Hours per week: Full-time

Shift Pattern: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm, Five shifts over Seven

Job Dimensions: House keeping Supervisor within a busy City Centre Hotel, Responsible for maintaining cleaning standards, supporting daily housekeeping operations.

Qualification Required:

Supervisor Experience in Housekeeping is an advantage

Experience Required:

To have experience in the hotel before as a housekeeper/Supervisor would be an advantage

1. Practical

• Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Restock and deliver linen within the establishment
• Clearing corridors, stairways and fire exits of linen, rubbish, room service trays etc.
• Cleaning duties as required
• Light maintenance duties
• Handle linen according to procedures
• Dispose of dirty linen following correct procedure
• Taking in and checking of departmental deliveries

2. Customer Relations

• Encourage good relations with all clients on contract site
• Promptly deal with any queries or complaints
• Promote ISS Ireland

3. Training

• Partake in basic induction training for new staff
• Partake in ongoing training from supervisor
• Cooperate with safe working practices

4. HSEQ

• Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations.
• Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies.
• Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions
• Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
• Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)

Other features of the job

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.

Qualification Required

• Must have experience as supervisor.
• Previous housekeeping or porter experience would be advantageous.
• Basic computer skills needed
