What will I be doing?

Responsible for providing administrative support for a variety of Human Resources programs and initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of HR initiatives, onboarding / off-boarding of staff, and working on initiatives to improve the Team Member experience.

HR Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Supports daily HR activities including recruitment, training, onboarding, health & safety, compensation and benefits.
  • Maintains and updates employee records in HRIS and any documentation pertaining to HR.
  • Assists with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests regarding employee relations, recruitment, health & safety, and benefits. Resolves issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensures legal compliance to the Employee Standards Act of Ontario, Ontario Health & Safety, and other regulations and best practices.
  • Conducts orientations and training sessions from time to time as needed while maintaining brand standards.
  • Creates and organizes various reports using HRIS, MS Excel and required data for various project functions.
  • Keeps up-to-date and remains well informed with the best Human Resources practices and trends within and outside of the industry.
  • Assists with all other administrative duties as required by the HR Manager or General Manager.

HR Administrator Requirements:

  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources
  • Previous experience working in a clerical/admin role preferred
  • Previous Human Resources experience an asset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and related business tools
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong English language verbal and written skills

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,500.00 per year
