HR Business Partner (1 Year Maternity Cover)

About The Role

Exciting opportunity for a versatile HR Business Partner in Oslo, Norway to join Hansen’s dynamic, global HR Team on a 1-year fixed term cover .

Reporting to the HRBP Lead for EMEA region, the HR Business Partner manages a variety of facets relating to the employee lifecycle across Norway.

As a trusted advisor to the business, you will consult, guide, and address any employee-related issues. As part of a global HR function, you will collaborate across regions and work on key projects and other HR and business-related objectives.

Take a key role in driving HR initiatives and best practices for an established and successful global software vendor!

About You

You are a multi-skilled HR generalist passionate about driving people initiatives and upholding company values. You possess:

  • Previous experience as a HR representative in Norway, ideally within fast-paced, commercially driven business environments.
  • The ability to incorporate your sound knowledge of Norwegian employment law to achieve positive HR case outcomes. Additional knowledge of Swedish employment law is a strong plus.
  • An adaptable, curious and solutions driven work approach, forging key relationships with major stakeholders and valued employees.
  • Excellent English skills plus fluency in Norwegian. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects such as HR, Law, Psychology or Business Administration is preferred but not a must if you have relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities

You will be the HR operational excellence point of contact for employees, stakeholders, and the broader business within your remit (Norway). This involves:

  • Working closely with stakeholders develop priorities and action to drive strong employee engagement and retention using data as your evidence base.
  • Coach managers and employees on policy interpretation, business programs and processes and procedures.
  • Support global HR initiatives including REM cycle, performance reviews and Engagement Surveys.
  • Work across regions on global HR initiatives and projects.
