Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including, commercial, and industrial spaces. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and employees alike.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
- Carry out custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas by removing trash, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring restrooms are cleaned, stocked and tidy.
- Act as a porter by managing supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning operations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and techniques for commercial environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift medium to heavy objects and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
