The Insurance Sales Representative role is designed for an experienced insurance professional who excels at consultative selling and relationship management. You will begin by focusing on new business production and gradually transition into managing a commercial book of business. This role offers stability, growth, and the opportunity to build lasting client relationships within a supportive agency environment.

  • Base Salary between $60,000 - $80,000 with first year earnings expected between $80,000 and $100,000
  • Paid on renewals with long-term income potential
  • Monday through Friday schedule with evenings and weekends off

Requirements

  • An active insurance license is required
  • Strong Property & Casualty insurance knowledge with formal training preferred
  • CIC, CPCU, or ARM designations highly valued
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Articulate, persuasive, and confident communication skills
  • Ability to manage both new business and existing accounts

Responsibilities

  • Write new business through consultative sales conversations
  • Explain renewal coverage to clients and obtain required binding forms
  • Assess exposures, risk transfer needs, and coverage gaps
  • Make clear, informed coverage recommendations to clients
  • Meet with new prospects and close insurance sales
