We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Specialist/Advisor to join the Insurance Team in one of our office locations Perth, Melbourne or Sydney.
In this role, you will assist the insurance team with overseeing a large insurance program for the company’s existing operations along with developing new programs as we continue to expand our operations across the APAC region.
You will be part of a dynamic and focused team working closely with key Webuild and Clough team members responding to various insurance queries, gathering necessary information, identifying insurable risks, and delivering appropriate insurance advice. You will be involved in all aspects of insurance lifecycle which provides you with a range of development and growth opportunities whilst working with some of Australia's most iconic projects.

You will engage with various stakeholders, both within and outside the organization, necessitating excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster high-trust relationships.
We are looking to engage someone at Adviser level, who has a proven level of experience and knowledge gained in a similar insurance advisory role and /or insurance broking environment.
Your focus will include:
- Assist with placement and maintenance of required project specific insurance
- Assist with placement and maintenance of the corporate insurance program
- Assist with estimating of insurance programs for various bids across multiple industries
- Assist with management of insurance claims under both corporate and/or project policies
- Provide timely, accurate and professional advice to various Corporate & Project teams including review on insurance clauses in contractual arrangements
- Ensuring compliance with the group’s insurance processes across all entities
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 3 years engineering/construction insurance market, broking or inhouse client experience essential
- Understanding of insurance legislation and contract indemnities is desirable
- Understanding of large international, complex insurance programs is desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in insurance, law, commerce, finance or related field would be highly regarded (but not essential)
- Effective use of Microsoft Excel
- Collaborative team player and proactive problem solver
- Strong analytical, written and interpersonal communication skills
- High degree of attention to detail and committed to meeting deadlines
