Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Interior Designer to conceptualize and execute stylish, functional interiors for residential and commercial projects. The candidate will work closely with clients, the design team, and site execution partners to deliver end‑to‑end interior solutions including space planning, material selection, and 2D/3D visualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, budget, and lifestyle needs.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and space‑planning solutions for homes, apartments, and commercial spaces.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D visualizations (using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) for client presentations and project documentation.
• Select and coordinate materials, finishes, colours, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the design concept and budget.
• Collaborate with the project execution team, carpenters, and vendors to ensure design accuracy and quality during installation.
• Prepare basic BOQs, cost estimates, and specifications as required for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and interior packages.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, design verification, and supervision to ensure work is completed as per design standards.
• Stay updated on current interior design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to the Kerala market.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in interior design (residential focus preferred), with portfolio showcasing 2D plans and 3D visualizations.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar rendering tools.
• Strong visualization, space‑planning, and material‑selection skills.
• Good communication, negotiation, and client‑handling skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines, multitask, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture projects.
• Familiarity with Kerala‑specific tastes, materials, and costing benchmarks.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to participate in site visits and client meetings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,748.57 - ₹20,000.00 per month

• Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
