Job Description: An Inventory Runner is responsible for working with internal teams to scan and move hardware within CSG’s warehouse and production area as well as virtually in CSG’s databases. The Inventory Runner accurately picks hardware from CSG inventory once paid sales orders are provided to be further configured by the production team. The Inventory runner works with Inventory specialists and the Inventory manager to maintain accurate counts of inventory and receive and stock incoming inventory. The Inventory Runner assists with receiving functions as well as the in the Shipping and Production department when additional assistance is needed when their workload allows.

Job Responsibilities: An Inventory Runner candidate shall be able to, but is not limited to:

• Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Understand Quality Management System and apply standard operating procedures.
• Understand and use good documentation practices for all work-related correspondence.
• Interpret sales order and pick hardware and peripherals for scanning.
• Move inventory virtually and physically around CSG’s systems and production area.
• Assists Inventory Specialist in cycle counts.
• Assists Inventory Specialist/Manager verifying counts during the intake process, if needed.
• Alerts Inventory Specialist or Management of any discrepancies noticed.
• Assist the Receiving department as needed by receiving inventory in the warehouse management system.
• Assist the Shipping and Production department as needed when the workload allows.
• Help SKU new inventory products with corresponding barcodes.
• Interpret sales order and pick hardware and peripherals for scanning.
• Required to participate in semiannual inventory counts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education: An Inventory Runner candidate must have at a minimum:

• A high school diploma or GED.

Training: An Inventory Runner candidate must go through documented training with a qualified trainer or otherwise appointed personnel and demonstrate competency in performing the job.

A person being transferred from within to this position must have worked in the area and demonstrated the required technical skills necessary to perform this job.

Skills: An Inventory Runner candidate shall be comfortable with, but not limited to:

• Understand Quality Management System and apply standard operating procedures.
• Understand and use good documentation practices for all work-related correspondence.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail oriented with organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to pivot between multiple tasks.

Physical Demands: A person being considered for an Inventory runner position is regularly required to:

• walk; use hands finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch and
• Communicate with all other departments within the company.
• The employee is frequently required to stand and sit.
• This job requires a regular lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

• Working independently or in a group setting to complete written or verbal instructions.
• Multi-tasking and detail oriented.
• Ability to use a computer, spreadsheet programs, NetSuite, and email.
• Warehouse, inventory, and material handling experience.
• Forklift certified
