Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen staff in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly. This role is essential for creating a positive dining experience for our guests while adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the head chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is stored and handled correctly.
• Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure timely meal service.
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as needed.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.

Pay: $16.10-$23.03 per hour
