Job Title: Lead Carpenter – Outdoor Structures
Pay: $25–$35/hr (based on experience)
Location: London, ON
Job Type: Full-time / Seasonal with potential for year-round work

About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to take charge of a small crew building decks, fences, pergolas, and other outdoor structures. This role is ideal for someone with strong carpentry skills who’s ready to lead projects on-site, work with clients, and make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead a crew in the construction of wood-based outdoor structures (decks, fences, pergolas, etc.)
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and layouts
• Organize daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure timelines are met
• Ensure quality workmanship, site safety, and client satisfaction
• Communicate with clients and the company owner about project progress
• Problem-solve on site and adapt plans as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work site

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in residential carpentry or outdoor construction
• Ability to lead a small crew and manage day-to-day project execution
• Experience operating tools and equipment (e.g. saws, levels, augers, etc.)
• Solid understanding of framing, leveling, and code-compliant construction
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Experience with custom designs and/or more complex builds
• Ability to quote small jobs or assist with layout and material planning
