Job Summary
We are seeking a Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC machinery, interpret technical drawings, program and produce precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC programming, and experience with various types of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and or CNC milling machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Program CNC machines using machine controls, Millpower, Fusion 360 and Hypermill.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions
• Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and determine there ability to preform correctly
• Assist with assembly, welding, or other mechanical tasks as needed
• Operate forklifts safely for material handling when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role with hands-on machining skills.
• Mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and equipment operation.
• Proficiency in CNC programming,
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programs .
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations,
• Familiarity with common measuring tools
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to operate CNC lathe, CNC milling machines, and related machinery efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
