Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and be proficient in operating CNC machines and thinking through modifications of Injection Molded parts. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively in a time sensitive environment. As the Machinist, you will play a crucial role in modifying and maintaining mold and machine parts to minimize production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, including lathes and Mazatrol systems, to produce precision parts.
• Program and set up machines according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
• Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Assemble components and perform basic welding tasks when necessary.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Machinist with hands-on knowledge of CNC operations.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to weld and assemble parts is a plus.
• Experience operating lathes and understanding of Mazatrol systems is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $35.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 8 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
