We're seeking a dedicated and reliable General Hotel Maintenance Operative to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel. This hands on role is vital to maintaining the quality and comfort of our guest experience, encompassing a wide range of tasks from basic repairs and preventative maintenance to contributing to special projects. About The Role
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the hotel.
You will encompass a broad range of tasks, from routine maintenance and repairs to preventative upkeep and emergency responses. This often includes addressing guest requests related to malfunctioning equipment, fixing plumbing and electrical issues, and maintaining the hotel's aesthetic appeal. You also will conduct regular inspections of the property, identifying and addressing potential hazards or areas requiring attention to prevent larger problems from developing.
Beyond reactive repairs, a significant portion of the time is dedicated to preventative maintenance.
A keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team are crucial for success in this multifaceted role, ensuring the comfort and safety of guests and the longevity of the hotel's infrastructure.
