Greenhill Fruit Farm is a leading horticultural business operating across multiple sites in County Wexford. We are committed to quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join our established maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

General farm maintenance and repairs.

Maintenance of machinery, equipment, and farm facilities.

Basic mechanical and electrical repairs

Assisting with upkeep of buildings, fencing, water systems, and infrastructure

Perform mechanical repairs, including fabrication, welding, and fitting tasks (desirable)

Diagnose faults in machinery and equipment and implement effective solutions.

Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.

Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Implement lean maintenance practices.

Requirements

• Trade qualified or equivalent relevant experience
• Proven experience in a maintenance role
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
• Full, clean driving licence

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in agriculture, food production, manufacturing, or similar environments
• Experience with automation, irrigation systems, refrigeration, or plant machinery
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programmes
• Welding/Fitting experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €19.00-€24.00 per hour
