Skilled Maintenance Technician needed for a well established company in Fostoria! You would be responsible for the general mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of all equipment in the plant.

Night Shift: 8:00 pm- 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday

Job Overview:

• Preventative maintenance and repairs on engines, motors, hydraulics, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines such as hoppers, screeners, mixing machines, bag sealers, and scales.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation
• Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories, placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Support Head of Maintenance in all ongoing and future initiatives, and complete additional projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed:

• Able to work under pressure and have a sense of urgency to ensure timely repairs
• Superior time management, problem solving, and organization skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge
• Previous experience, degree, or knowledge in welding, blueprint reading, schematics, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, engines, maintenance/repair of heavy equipment/machines in an industrial environment, etc.
• PLC experience
• Prior HVAC experience
• Ability to lift over 50lbs
• Comfortable using ladders and working at heights up to 90 feet
• Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to: safety toe boots, safety glasses, harnesses, dust masks, work gloves, and hearing protection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
