Job Overview
TIW WESTERN Inc. is an established Calgary based manufacturing company and recognized leading supplier of thermal industrial equipment, including heat recovery and once through steam generators.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
• Conduct tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, complete daily/weekly/monthly inspections and PM services.
• Electrical, mechanical and working at heights safety awareness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.
• Electrical experience is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members.
