Overview

Tamarack is the Canadian leader in the manufacture of mobile glycol heating systems for use in the construction, oil & gas industries, and insect remediation markets through the Heat-King and Heat-Assault brands. www.heat-assault.com and www.heat-king.ca.

In support of our growth, we are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Mechanical Assemblers. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED (technical certification is a plus).
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift [weight limit, e.g., 25 kg.] and stand for extended periods.
