Mechanical Piping Supervisor

Job Overview:

CMCR is seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and inspection of piping systems for industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating a team of pipefitters, welders, and general operatives to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Coordination:

• Lead and supervise a team of pipefitters, welders, and general operatives on-site.

•Plan and allocate work schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

•Monitor daily activities to maintain project timelines and address potential delays.

•Project Management:

•Collaborate with project managers to review project plans, specifications, and drawings.

•Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.

•Ensure all piping systems are installed and tested according to project specifications.

•Technical Oversight: Review piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and welding specifications.

•Resolve technical issues related to piping installation and system commissioning.

•Verify that all equipment and materials used on-site meet required standards.

•Health, Safety & Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.

•Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.

•Report and document any incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.

•Documentation & Reporting:

•Maintain accurate records of daily activities, work progress, and personnel attendance.

•Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to management.

•Assist in the preparation of as-built documentation and handover packages.

Qualifications and Experience:

•Proven experience as a Mechanical Piping Supervisor in industrial construction or maintenance projects.

•Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and welding processes.

•Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs,

•In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

•Excellent leadership and communication skills.

•Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
