Here at Iconic Media Group – Ireland’s biggest local digital and newspaper publisher – we have a fantastic new opportunity for a media sales representative to contribute to the group’s exciting development strategy. You’ll learn the ropes and start building up your skills as part of the highly experienced and supportive advertising sales team working across Leitrim Observer / Leitrim Live.
You’ll be expected to hit the ground running and to take on responsibility for a portfolio of existing customers, as well as for developing new relationships with potential advertisers. Of course, we’ll also give you all the training and encouragement you need to hit your targets and grow in your role.
So what are we looking for? Above all else, the communication and relationship-building skills to present well and persuade customers of the immense value of advertising. It would be great if you’ve already sharpened those skills in a customer-facing or telesales role (retail or call centre), but relevant experience is not essential. If you’re ambitious, confident, able to think on your feet – and able to inspire others – you’ve got this.
