Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least (1) year experience directly providing care to individuals in a medical setting, preferably in Pediatrics.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs and medical history accurately.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Administer vaccines, medications, tests and procedures, as directed by healthcare providers.
• Familiar with VFC and FL Shots.
• Vaccines inventory, ( VFC and Private Lots)
• Manage patient flow within the office setting to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with staff and patients.
• Medical supplies inventory .

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or office setting is preferred.
• High School or GTE required.
• Fluent in the English language .
• Certification or Diploma /Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient information.
• CPR Certification by the American Red Cross or Heart Association (preferred).
• Understanding of medical terminology related to various healthcare practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
