Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across outpatient and inpatient settings,.Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinical operations, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient service.
Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist healthcare providers with procedures by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and handling supplies efficiently.
- Support patient care activities by administering medications as directed, providing basic life support (BLS), and assisting with medication administration protocols.
- Manage medical administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, ICD coding for diagnoses, insurance documentation, and maintaining detailed patient records.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical settings in clinics,
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in documenting patient information accurately.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent patient service across diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as outpatient clinic units while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
