We're Hiring! Medical Office Assistant / Patient Experience Coordinator Location: Expert Physio
Are you a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy professional with a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences? Expert Physio is looking for a Medical Office Assistant / Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to join our dynamic and fast-paced physiotherapy clinic.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a confident, efficient, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a busy environment. You should be a quick learner who excels at multitasking and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with a high level of customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Handle billing, payments, and manage outstanding accounts and rejections
- Perform electronic filing, faxing, scanning, and general administrative duties
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
- Handling direct billing for WCB, ICBC, MSP, and private insurance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly
- Previous MOA experience and familiarity with JANE EMR
Schedule:
- Part-time coverage on Wednesday evenings (Typically between 1:00 pm and 8/9 pm) , and mid day shifts Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (Typically between 9 am and 5 pm)
- Sick/Vacation coverage as needed
- Occasional Saturday shifts and additional hours may be available
