Duties

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression of the practice
• Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages promptly
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (Accuro)
• Assist with billing, insurance verification, and processing payments to ensure smooth financial operations
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist clinical staff during patient visits as needed
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies
• Support front desk operations by coordinating appointment scheduling and managing patient check-in/check-out processes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with clinical staff
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Accuro)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing front desk responsibilities
• Office experience that demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
