The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to work hands-on with the full millwork cycle from blueprint interpretation through final assembly. Reporting to the owner and shop manager, you will contribute to a wide range of commercial and residential projects from start to finish while also assisting with day-to-day operations.
As part of a small team, you will work in the shop operating machinery and hand tools delivering high quality custom millwork.

Prerequisites
- Graduate of a relevant collegiate program such as woodworking, millwork, carpentry or cabinetmaking OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints to accurately take measurements, and craft products as needed
- Ability to utilize machinery, equipment, and power tools applicable to the trade while following safety standards
- Ability to load and unload products while manually lifting custom millwork and cabinets
- Must have valid driver’s license and a reliable method of transportation to commute to the shop and to project site
- Experience with woodworking considered a strong asset
Conditions of employment
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle as there are no bus routes available in the area. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
