Night Porter – Moxy Dublin Docklands
Location: East Wharf, East Wall, Dublin 3
Reports to: Night Manager / Front Office Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
As a Night Porter at Moxy Dublin Docklands, you’ll be the heartbeat of the hotel during the quiet hours. You’ll support the Night Manager in ensuring a smooth, safe, and welcoming overnight experience for all guests. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment and enjoys working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist late-arriving guests with check-ins, luggage, and general queries.
- Conduct regular security and safety checks throughout the property.
- Support the Night Manager with overnight audits and reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of public areas and back-of-house spaces.
- Assist with early morning guest requests, wake-up calls, and breakfast setup.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or guest concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar night-based role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, guest-first attitude.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert and professional throughout the night.
