The Wilder Townhouse is a residents only 42 bedroom boutique Townhouse. Itis located in the heart of Dublin. Set in a beautifully restored Victorian townhouse, we offer guests a unique blend of historic charm and contemporary luxury. Our team takes great pride in delivering warm, intuitive service to both leisure and business travellers alike.

Job Overview:

The Night Porter is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of The Wilder Townhouse during overnight hours. This role combines guest service, security, and operational support, ensuring that all guests receive a high standard of service while maintaining the safety and presentation of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and guest queries during night hours
• Set up the breakfast room for breakfast service
• operate residents bar if required.

Working Hours

• Night shifts between 11:00pm – 7:00 am (may vary based on business needs)
• Shifts include weekends and public holidays
• 5 Shifts over 7 days 39 hours a week

Security & Safety

• Conduct regular security checks of the premises
• Ensure all doors, entrances, and exits are secure
• Monitor fire safety systems and follow emergency procedures where required
• Act as the first point of contact in the event of an emergency

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
