Night Porter

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Porter Part- Time to join our Team at the Cavan Crystal Hotel.

The role of Night porter is to assist the Nights Team throughout the night shift in relation to hotel and guest security, reception duties as well as maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotels. This role is a part time permanent position with shifts from 3 to 5 days per week, depending on business levels. Shifts are from 23.00pm to 7.30am.

Cavan Crystal Hotel is one of Cavan’s leading 4-star hotel’s. Located less than 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Cavan Town, it features an 17 m swimming pool, an award-winning Zest health and fitness club, Atrium Bar and Glassworks Restaurant.

Role and Responsibilities:

• To ensure that the security of the hotel is maintained overnight, conducting regular fire and security checks
• To be available to attend to guests needs and ensure the highest standards of customer care at all times
• Check in and out hotel guests as required as well as assisting with guest requests in relation to luggage/porterage and any other requirements.
• Responsible for the cleaning of areas in the hotels including, but not restricted to lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant and bar floor, public and staff areas and the meeting room floor.
• Assist with Conference & Banqueting set-up upon request
• Administration as required, to include printing reports and preparing and filing the guests registration cards and filing room service dockets.
