Night Porter

We are recruiting for a Night Porter to cover 2 nights per week or fulltime. We can offer more shifts in the bar also if full time work is needed by a suitable applicant.

The night shift is a very rewarding one and very much part of our team. Night Duties include security, cleaning, bar service and guest relations.

Fluent English is a must for this role.

As bar tender / Bar Person your main duties will be:

• To Ensure the cleanliness and order; correct mis-en-place and set up of the bar prior to and during service, ensuring guests are warmly greeted and promptly served to a high standard as set by the general standards of a four star castle hotel.
• To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform,as outlined in your induction handbook
• To ensure that the bar area is kept clean and fully stocked at all times
• To Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations
• To Ensure the accuracy of all floats by checking them and reporting irregularities (senior bar personnel only)
• You are responsible for:
• the efficient dispensing and serving of drinks
• for the efficient service of bar food, with full tray set up to the standard of a four star castle hotel.
• Ensuring food is served in accordance with and with respect for the standard set by the chef.
• Ensuring guest need are met and guests are satisfied

Requirements for bar person:

• Must be age 18+
• Must have fluent written & spoken English
• Permission to reside & work in Ireland
• Ability to reliably commute
• Customer service focused
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Previous experience preferred but not essential
