We are currently seeking a Night Porter to ensure a warm welcome for our guests, uphold safety standards, and provide seamless overnight service in line with the high standards of our historic property.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests on arrival and departure, including handling luggage.
• Complete late-night check-ins in line with hotel policies and procedures.
• Answer telephone calls professionally, take accurate messages, and communicate them promptly.
• Provide light food and beverage service to residents and their guests.
• Ensure accurate accounting of all night-time transactions and cash handling.
• Perform regular security patrols focusing on guest safety, fire safety, and building security.
• Carry out cleaning duties in public areas, toilets, and bars as per the nightly checklist.
• Complete and record safety checks via Logit; report any safety issues immediately.
• Assist with early breakfast service and dining room setup.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Provide support to colleagues by completing additional cleaning or prep tasks during quieter periods.
• Communicate hotel services and information clearly to guests.
