Job Title: Nursing Assistant – Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic

Job Purpose:
To provide safe, compassionate and practical support to patients attending the physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic, assisting physiotherapists with patient mobility, transfers, preparation for treatment, and general patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with safe movement, transfers, walking and positioning.
• Support patients before, during and after physiotherapy sessions.
• Assist patients who require help with activities of daily living.
• Monitor and report basic observations such as pulse, blood pressure, temperature and oxygen saturation, where trained and required.
• Prepare treatment areas, equipment and patients before physiotherapy sessions.
• Assist physiotherapists during rehabilitation sessions as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised clinical environment.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Assist with fall-prevention and patient-safety measures.
• Observe patients during treatment and promptly report any changes or concerns to the physiotherapist or appropriate clinical staff.
• Support elderly, post-operative, neurological, orthopaedic and mobility-impaired patients.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
• Complete basic patient-related documentation as required.
• Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Nursing Assistant/Healthcare Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital, rehabilitation centre, physiotherapy clinic or elderly-care setting is desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Understanding of basic infection-control and patient-safety procedures.
• Compassionate, patient and professional approach.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with elderly patients.
• Orthopaedic and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Neurological rehabilitation.
• Stroke or Parkinson's rehabilitation.
• Falls prevention and mobility assistance.
• Experience working alongside physiotherapists.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
