Occupational Therapist

With a capacity of around 430 beds, Peacehaven provides compassionate, individualized, holistic care to all without discrimination. The Salvation Army, Singapore - Peacehaven Nursing Home

• To administer occupational therapy services aligned with The Salvation Army's Mission and Philosophy of Care. Provide resident-centered care focusing on their comfort and health.
• To coordinate and ensure appropriate occupational therapy services by supervising, monitoring and educating therapy and nursing staff.
• Implement and continuously improve standards of care and service that meet or exceed Ministry of Health and The Salvation Army's required levels of performance.
• Assess and identify individual needs of residents and formulate/develop and implement appropriate individualised music therapeutic programs.
• Evaluate and document residents' occupation therapy needs and progress at regular intervals, monitor training programs and review its effectiveness.
• Refer residents to the respective specialists for consultation and appropriate intervention.
• Train and supervise caregivers/volunteers in the maintenance of occupational therapy programs.
• Plan and schedule therapy care staff for relevant training in order to excel in their duties.

• Bachelor degree / Diploma
• Full registration with APHC

Working Hours

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

• 8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch break)
