Job Summary
Robertson-Wesley United Church is non-profit organization that is a dynamic, welcoming and inclusive community.
We are seeking a motivated and organized Office Administrator to join our team and help ensure our church runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and handle incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
- Manage goggle calendars (scheduling bookings)
- Maintain organized filing systems (both electronic and paper)
- Order office supplies and ensure office equipment in well maintained
- Prepare bulletins, electronic and paper newsletters, correspondence, and presentations as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist with invoicing
- Support internal teams with administrative tasks
- Update and maintain database, website and social media
- Assist with marketing and communication of events (i.e. posters, announcements)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office administration role (1+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) or Microsoft equivalents.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Knowledge in Adobe, MailChimp, Canva, Publishing, for example would be a bonus, but not a requirement
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality

- Competitive compensation ($22-$24/hour) Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00 PM (with an hour break)
- 6 month contract July 2, 2025 - Jan 2, 2026 contract with an opportunity for it to become full-time with full benefits.
