Join our Team at the Rockcliffe Flying Club (Operators of the Ottawa Rockcliffe Airport)!

As operators of a flight school, aviation maintenance organization, airport and flying club, RFC is looking for a motivated and reliable Operations Coordinator to join our team.

This is a hands-on, dynamic role where you will be involved in aircraft operations, customer service, and airfield support in a fast-paced aviation environment.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will help keep airport operations running safely and smoothly, including:

• Dispatching aircraft in accordance with SOPs and operational manuals
• Flight following and assisting with emergency response coordination
• Managing aircraft scheduling
• Supporting aircraft movements and maintenance activities
• Supporting special events.
• Issuing invoices and processing customer payments
• Conducting daily airport and dispatch checks
• Fuel and oil servicing for aircraft
• Airfield and clubhouse custodial and maintenance duties
• Grass cutting and general airfield upkeep
• Supporting overall airport safety and operations

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Hold an SPP or greater and/or have experience in airport operations.
• Strong multitasking and independent working ability
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Customer service mindset
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to obtain a Restricted Radio Operator License - Airplane (training provided).

Assets (Nice to Have):

• Bilingual (English / French)
• Interest or experience in aviation
• Experience with heavy equipment (Tractors, Snow Plows)
