Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will oversee the operational delivery of physical works carried out under the maintenance contract. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Contract Manager through development of the forward works program and delivery of physical works. Also required to liaise with internal and external subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver an outstanding customer experience, whilst maintaining high quality and financial management standards. They will be responsible for Operational Management, Programme Management, Health & Safety and Environment & Quality

Qualifications & Experience

• NZ or equivalent diploma or degree in a civil engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years Road maintenance experience with multi skilled staff management and supervisory experience.
• A thorough understanding of pavement construction, Asphalt paving, chipseal, drainage operations
• Strong knowledge of QA, H&S and environmental procedures and requirements
