Join Our Team at Hotsy Equipment Company
At Hotsy Equipment Company, we’re seeking an experienced outside sales professional to manage and grow our customer base. This role includes servicing existing accounts while actively prospecting new opportunities. You'll be demonstrating equipment on-site, closing sales, and delivering products using company vehicles. This position is eligible to take part in the Sales Commission program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service existing customer accounts
- Cold call and prospect to generate new leads
- Demonstrate pressure washers, parts washers, and floor scrubbers on-site
- Close sales and follow up on quotes
- Plan and organize a daily sales schedule, including chemical evaluations and demos
- Deliver equipment and chemicals using company trucks
- Secure new preventive maintenance (PM) service accounts
- Handle customer complaints and billing issues professionally
- Continuously developing product knowledge and technical expertise
- Ideal candidate will understand mechanical components, hydraulics, pumps and industrial engines
- Maintain long-term customer relationships
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-focused environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of outside sales experience in construction or industrial equipment
- Must reside locally — relocation candidates will not be considered
- Strong background in customer service and territory management
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and close deals
- Skilled in prospecting, trade negotiation, and product demonstration
- Mechanical/Electrical aptitude is strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- No nights or weekends — consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

- industrial equipment sales: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
