Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on building relationships with homeowners, contractors, and businesses to promote and sell our premium fireplace, chimney, and outdoor living solutions. Your ability to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, including homeowners, builders, associations, managers and contractors, providing expert advice on fireplace and outdoor living products.
  • Product Knowledge: Learn and maintain a deep understanding of our product lines, including gas, electric and wood fireplaces, mantels, outdoor kitchens, and more.
  • Sales Goals: Generate and follow up on leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Design Assistance: Collaborate with customers on product selection and design, ensuring their vision becomes a reality.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain communication with customers post-visit to ensure satisfaction and secure future business.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the installer teams and other departments to ensure smooth project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Prior experience in home improvement sales, design consultation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Passion for home improvement, interior design, or outdoor living spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn technical product specifications and explain them to customers.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (experience with CRM software is a plus).
